Are You An Emailaholic? 5 Signs That Show You Are!

Does this look like you? Yes! It’s a real addiction…

It’s a serious problem but we all need to learn how to laugh at ourselves from time to time…

5 Signs That Reveal You’re An Emailaholic

  1. You check your email every 10-15 minutes for new orders, new offers, emails from customers, joint ventures, (viagra?) and the list goes on…

  2. Your mum, spouse or whoever, calls you out for dinner but you tell her “5 more minutes honey”, so you can reply to an email. 5 minutes ends up being 30 minutes.

  3. You’re in the middle of creating or editing your website and you repeatedly point to your email program and “refresh” your inbox.

  4. You have separate folders for different types of emails.

  5. You make sure that your email program runs on startup i.e. - you set Outlook to run automatically when you log on.

I have a relationship with my inbox and it makes me feel weird!

I’m guilty of checking my inbox every 15 minutes. The first thing most people would do is go to the loo. The first thing I do is check my email to see how many more sales I’ve received!

Don’t make Alex (the cartoon) and me feel weird and alone :)

Can you add more “Signs” to the list I’ve already made? This will be interesting to see.

I’d love to hear from you!

How To Promote Your Products and Profit Massively From Them - Part 2

Part 1 of these series focused on how you can easily start getting traffic to your website in just 24 hours after product launch. This part 2 is a continuation of the same principles and methods. Before I go further, I would like to stress the fact that it would not be beneficial to both you and me if you are not going to implement the strategies listed out here. There is simply no need to waste your time and mine if all you want to do is read and file away. Make sure you implement them properly as they could define your success and failure online.

1. Build an affiliate list. Affiliates are simply people who help you sell or market your products and services for a certain percentage of the profits. They are the fastest way to get the word out. In fact I dare to say the use of this single tactic is enough to generate for you all the traffic you want. Take your time to find out how you can draft a team of affiliates who are willing to help you sell your products. If you doubt this, go to any reputable internet marketing forum and ask if affiliates are any use. Quench as much as possible the desire to have it all by yourself. Be willing to share in the short term so you can benefit in the long term. Let me make this more graphical. Let us say you just launched a product and you have about 50 affiliates helping to market the product. If each of the affiliates drives to your website just ten thousand visitors monthly, how many visitors would it result to in a month? Five hundred thousand! Five hundred thousand visitors you did not pay a dime for! What can be better than that? Then assuming you get to secure the emails of just one hundred thousand of them in a month, you’ll have yourself 1.2 million subscribers in just 12 short months. All at no cost to you. All you have to do is be willing to share the profits with your affiliates. If you sell later a product of $40 to just fifty thousand out of the 1.2 million subscribers yearly, you’ll end up making $2 million in a year. All for just allowing your affiliates take just five hundred thousand dollars in commissions. Not a bad deal eh?

2. Write articles centered on the benefits of your product and submit to article directories, ezine and newsletter publishers, and every possible location all over the internet. If you can even put your ads in the national dailies, put it. It doesn’t cost much to place classified ads in newspapers.

3. Advertise in other ezines and mailing lists. This is a tricky method. The key lies in getting them to visit your website. So, the best bet is not to sell in your solo mailings or top sponsor ads, but in getting them to visit your website using an enticing copy. For instance, if you are selling an ebook, audio or video recording, you can just prepare an excerpt of the ebook, parts of the recording and so on for them to download at no cost to them. This will create a desire in them to want to buy immediately if the excerpts offered them are good enough.

How To Promote Your Products and Profit Massively From Them - Part 1

So you have created that product and are sure it is a winner but you do not know how to go about getting it in public glare because of the fact that you are short on cash and are on a very tight budget. We can agree that product promotion is one of the toughest nuts to crack online. Many people have rolled out wonderful products and services but never saw it take off like they thought it would because they either did not do their research properly before launching the product or they do not have adequate information with regards to product marketing.

There are various methods that are involved in promoting your products. While some of them entail spending money, others entail using your head to think out what steps to take and what to do.

1. If you have a list(s), send an email to them announcing the launch of your products and services. If you have been able to sell to their lists, you should by now, be able to identify which lists and subscribers are always ready buyers. Hence, it is important that you separate the consistent buyers from the others. These are the first people you want to send an email to as they are always willing to buy from you. Then, you can then send to the other subscribers on the list. This creates a buzz. If you do not know how to separate the buyers from the other subscribers, simply look at the history of payments compiled by your payment processors and separate them from the others. There are softwares that you can use in comparing both lists so that you delete their names and emails from the list of those who are not consistent buyers.

2. Get in touch with your joint venture partners. These partners are extremely important in the success of any business particularly when it is online. You have people who have highly populated lists of over 30,000. If you do business with just 10 like that, it will start a steady traffic that may culminate in over three hundred thousand visitors in a space of just one week. If you are new to joint venturing, it would be best that you offer those you want to joint venture with a larger share of the sales which could sometimes be as much as 90%. Don’t be scared of this figure, as you’ll recoup it in the long term. All you need do is make sure that so many of the subscribers subscribe to your ezine, ecourse or newsletter. This would give you the opportunity to make money from them later on. The reason this method is effective is because of the level of trust your subscribers have for the person you want to joint venture with. In short, what you have is a ready crowd of people willing to buy from you as long you come through the person they know. It is like when a relative of your uses a particular product that is highly beneficial. If she recommended the product to you, there is a higher tendency that you’ll buy because you have seen the results and trust what she is saying.

7 Ways To Generate Free Website Traffic

Generating free traffic is not always the impossible
feat that it is made out to be. In fact, there are
many different ways in which you can generate free
traffic. Some are better than others; and some are
especially effective in some niches, but not in
others. Below, I've listed seven such methods:

1. Write articles and submit them to directories.
Include a link in your resource box that points to
your site. This will generate traffic and click
throughs long after you publish it.

2. Add “keyword” pages to your site. You can do this
by writing articles that are focused around a certain
keyword and then simply uploading them to your site.
When your site is indexed by the search engines,
traffic will pick up for those keywords.

3. Begin finding link partners and exchanging links.
This will not only get you direct click through
traffic from other sites, but it will also get you
search engine traffic once those sites are indexed and
your site is given credit for the inbound links.

4. Create a high-quality flash video or real life
video; add it to a page on your site. Post that video
on You Tube, Break.com, and on all social bookmarking
sites, such as http://del.icio.us, and
http://www.technorati.com. If your video is
exceptionally funny or interesting, people will begin
to circulate your video around the Internet. Remember
to include the URL of your site in the video, so
viewers can figure out how to find your products.

5. Create a free report on a specific subject related
to your business. In that report, include a link to
your site (preferably a newsletter opt-in form) every
few pages. Take that report and give it away for free
to every site owner in your niche. If you have a link
to one of your products in that report, allow the site
owner to rebrand it. That will make him much more
likely to redistribute it.

6. Post regularly on forums related to your site.
This is perhaps the easiest and quickest way to
generate traffic. All it entails is creating an
account on several good forums, making useful and
interesting posts, and then including a signature file
that allows readers to click through to your site.

7. Post free ads in places that actually get traffic.
Using “free ad forums” may be a waste of time in many
instances; however, bulletin boards that get traffic,
but allow free advertisement, may be a good place to
look.

If your current advertising budget is higher than
you'd like, you should consider using free
advertising.

7 Powerful Ways To Generate Unstoppable Traffic

Generating traffic to your site means more chances of generating sales, leads and interests. There are multiple ways of driving traffic to your site. Some work and some don’t.

Before I reveal to you the 7 ways to generate traffic to your site, you need to know the fundamentals of generating traffic to your website first.

Basically, there are 3 types of traffic routes you can use.

The first is to buy traffic
Buying traffic includes pay-per-click such as Google Adwords, Overture & Miva. You can obviously place your ad on other peoples newsletters such as the Unstoppable Marketing newsletter for a small price between $5-$20 depending on where it’s located.

The second way is to D.I.Y (Do It Yourself).
This involves writing up your own articles and posting them to article directories such as ezinearticles.com & articlecity.com, setting up your own affiliate program and more.

The third fundamental is by borrowing traffic.
There’s no better way than to leverage your efforts with somebody else’s traffic. You can place your ad on someone else’s ezine/newsletter that’s related to your business.

Those are the 3 fundamentals you should know before going ahead.

Now let’s look at the 7 ways to generate unstoppable traffic 24/7.

  1. Get involved with the community – Post on hyper-active forums & boards that relate to your market Why do this? Because your signature is added to all your posts and readers can click on the link which directs them to your site. Basically, we want to make the most out of signature files. Not only on forums & boards but to your emails as well. Here’s an example of a signature file I use:

Some popular Internet marketing forums:

  1. Pay for instant traffic using Google Adwords(r).
Adwords(r) are those little classified ads that you see on the right hand site when you search for something. You only pay if someone clicks on your ad.
Your ad will appear on Google’s search in about 10-15 minutes time. It’s the fastest way you can generate targeted leads. You could also try Overture.com and Miva.com. But I’d highly recommend using Adwords - because of numerous reasons. There’s enough information about Google Adwords out there.
  2. Create your own blog
Get a free blog at blogger.com or Wordpress.org. Post content & keyword rich articles on your blog. Search engines love content. It’s best to have ‘original’ content rather than an article that’s been posted to hundreds if not thousands of other sites. It also brings back news readers who regularly read your blog.
  3. Use eBay as a traffic machine
Go to Alexa.com > Traffic rankings and search for ‘ebay.com’ and take a look at where ebay.com is ranked. As I write this report it’s ranked 9th in the world!

Here’s an example of how to generate traffic using eBay…

    • Grab a hot resell rights ebook you have in your collection.
    • Create a small txt file using notepad and add some information about your business and of course yourself.
    • Save it as “Bonus.txt” and include this small txt file with the resell rights ebook.

Now, what happens? You’ve got yourself a little viral machine going around to a highly targeted crowd. Remember, it’s a resell rights product so you can resell it to John Smith. John has the rights to resell it to other people as well. If he gave it out for free to his 10,000 list then how powerful would that be? It create a massive viral effect, as long as the small “bonus.txt” file is included. You could use alternative file formats such as .HTML or even better .PDF which appears to have more value. I have a video tutorial product called MyViralGenerator that’s purely dedicated to just this one idea i.e. – using eBay to drive traffic to your site.

  4. Write & Submit Articles
You can either write one yourself or outsource it from elance.com or rentacoder.com if you hate writing!. Typically, one content-rich article consists of 400-700 words.

Post your article(s) to article directories such as EzineArticles.com and ArticleCity.com.
How does it bring in traffic?
Most articles include a ‘resource’ box at the bottom of the article where you can write a small paragraph about the publisher. This is your where you tell them to go. If your article was informative to the reader they will most likely click on the link in your resource box. You need to make them go somewhere after they’ve read so that’s how it works. But that’s not all. Most articles are free to pass along as long as the resource box remains intact. Can you see where it’s going now?

I did a test last year to see if it really works. About a month later I searched my name and I was shocked to see how many sites added my article to there site!

Here’s a sample of a resource box you can copy:

    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

and download your free ebook to get started with your power word list building today.
    =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-

  5. Post comments on other people’s blogs
What better way than to post feedback on blogs that are related to your niche? Not just any blog, but a blog that dedicated to “Dog shampoos” or “Building your list”.

First find blogs that generate a lot of traffic.

Second, make sure it includes content-rich posts. What does this do? Search engine love content so this will bring the person searching for your niche to that blog and thus seeing your comment.

It only takes a few seconds to do.

  6. Joint Ventures
I saved this for last and I love it. Why? It’s helped one of my sites rank 507 in the world in less than 24 hours and the site is now at a consistent 10,700. If your site is under 100,000 that’s typically good.

Exchange links or ads with your JV’s. You place your link on their site, ezine or newsletter, and they place their ad on yours. It’s not hard to find JV’s. All you need to do is have a plan that’ll work both ways (a win/win), and never be afraid to ask. If you get rejected then so what. What if that person said yes? That would mean an extra 1,000, 10,000 or even 100,000 hits to your site. It’s all in the numbers game.

Applying just one of these methods to your business will increase traffic. Applying just an extra method is like a butterfly effect. The small things you do that make a dramatic difference overtime.

When you apply all of the 7 techniques, you will get an Unstoppable flow of traffic consistently coming in — which in turn brings you sales, subscribers, leads, better page rank or whatever you wanted…

Discover How To Use The Power Of Words

Imagine changing one word in your sales copy and it would
increase sales dramatically...

How can you accomplish this? Simply by using the right set
of words and phrases.

It's been three years since I've been marketing online
and the number one skill you can have, as a marketer, is writing killer web copy.

But learning how to write great copy takes practice. A lot
of practice.

During my past online marketing experience I
compiled a list of hundreds of power words and phrases that
I think were really compelling to me.

Each time I came across a great piece of copy I would immediately
write down the words they used that attracted me onto my 49c
notepad.

Today, I have a great list of jaw-dropping words I can refer
to when I'm writing any type of marketing media such as
sales copy.

The problem is that there's so much competition in cyber
space. People creating "make money" ebook products, "diet"
ebook products and many more.

A lot of questions from people selling information products
came up, such as:

  • How can I separate myself from my competition?
  • How can I make my sales copy more irresistible?
  • How can I use psychological devices to inspire & persuade
    people to take action?
The first thing you can do to dramatically increase
conversion rates is change the way you describe and explain
things.

Don't bore people with overused words and phrases such as
"How to create ebooks in 5 steps". Instead, add power words, psychological words, and phrases.

Here's an example - "How To Easily & Quickly Create A
Winning eBook Using 5 Proven Steps, Guaranteed"
.

Can you see the difference?

If this were a product, which one out of the two headlines
would you buy from? Of course the second headline! Because:
  1. It makes a promise ("Guaranteed")
  2. It highlights the main benefit ("Create A Winning ebook")
  3. It shows you how easy it is ("Easily & Quickly")
  4. It's concise & specific ("5 proven steps")

This is just one use of using the power of words and
phrases. This concept can be used on headlines, subject
lines, auction headlines/descriptions, Pay-Per-Click advertising
and any marketing media you could think of.

Here are four easy steps you can take right now to create a list
of killer words and phrases for you to refer in the future:
  1. But a notepad - It doesn't need to be fancy. I use a
49c notepad I bought from the local grocery store. Or you
could use a word processing software such as notepad.
  2. Keep this notepad next to you at all times when you're
online. If you see a word that sounds appealing, write it
    down immediately.
  3. Organize them in alphabetical order. Numbers can also
be added to you list. For example 100%.
  4. If you're not on your computer and you see a great word,
write it down on anything you can find - even a paper towel.
Or type it on your mobile phone.
I'm speaking from experience and creating your own 'list' of
words and phrases can benefit immensely for your online
business.

When you get to the stage of writing your copy, simply take
out your words list and insert some words to juice up your
copy.

Without doing small exercise anyone can create, will just
lead to poor copy and allot of thinking. Thinking of words
to use on your copy.

So if you really want to dramatically increase your
conversion rate
then the first and most simplest things you
could do, without paying an extra dime on advertising, is
changing the way you communicate to the reader. And that's by
using the power of words & phrases.

You can grab hundreds of power words and phrases, free, here: http://www.webcopywordsthatmakeyourich.com

Getting Your Subscribers To Respond Hyper-actively To Your Emails

You've written a nice email, formatted it correctly, gave them the link to go the site you want them to go to and signed it. What happens after? Not what you quite expected. No response, no clicks, no signups, no sales and not much of everything in general.

In this article I'll reveal some of my gems on getting your subscribers to respond to your emails.

What is the first thing you look at when you receive an email? For some it might be the subject line. Although the subject does play a major role in getting your emails read, it's not number one. What's number is the "From" section.

You see, there are hundreds and thousands of marketers out there but what makes one stand out is their rapport & credibility. When they have that the reader doesn't care much about the subject line because they know that the "expert" has given them value one way or another.

That's the first part of getting your subscribers to "respond" to your emails.

Next, it's your "subject line". What you don't want to do is make your subject line sound like and ad.

What you do want to do is make it sound like a friend or family. Relationship plays a major role in email marketing. You need to sound casual not 'corporate'.

Some examples of great subject lines:

"John, dinner's one me..."

"John, will you meet me at 8?"

"John, this tip is almost too easy..."

What you want to do is build curiosity.

Writing email copy is very much like writing normal copy. It's just a "skeleton" version. It's the meat of the actual copy.

Once you get your subscribers to actually open you email then comes the email copy.

The format for writing email copy is much like normal copy as I said.

Secrets for writing great email copy:

Build curiosity in every email you send.

This is how you get your subscribers to take action.

Add value to them. The simple truth is, your subscribers not only get your emails but dozens or even hundreds more. Why should they read your email? Always add value in every email you send.

Make your emails sound "personal".
This way you don't sound like you're always offering product after product. You'll sound more like a friend. You need to build a personal relationship with your subscribers. That's key to getting more responsiveness.

Wrap your text to no more than 60 characters wide.

This makes it easy on the eyes just like newspapers. They're split into columns.

Emphasise keywords or key phrases by using HIGHER CASE letters.

But do note that you should never use higher case in your entire email. This gives the feeling of aggressiveness.

Never use HTML format for your emails. Always use plain text.

Some email programs don't allow HTML formatted emails. The only way the reader can see it is to "unblock" it.

Try to use a "P.S." in every email you send out.

You need to expect that there are "email scrollers and scanners" so this is where the P.S. comes handy. The P.S. should summarise the whole email into one short paragraph. If the reader is interested, they'll go back to read from the start.

These tips alone will increase readership and most of all responsiveness. Try it out today and you'll see the difference instantly.

How To Create A Killer Opt-in Page In 10 Short & Simple Steps

If you want to build a responsive, targeted and big list then this special step-by-step tutorial is for you.

There are many ways of getting subscribers. If you want to get people to opt-in to your list without hesitation then you need, what we call, a name squeeze page.

Basically a name squeeze page forces the reader to opt-in to "find out more". Find out more about the product, receive a report, a download or whatever.

But, you need to do it the "special way". I've seen so many people do it incorrectly which caused them to only get a 1-2% conversion rate. Which is about one opt-in per 100 visits.

What I'm about to reveal to you will explode your opt-ins by 200%, 300% or even 400%!

This secrets I'm about to reveal to you has been proven to work. If you know how to follow simple step-by-step instructions, then this will be too easy for you.

So without further ado, here it is...

Step 1. Load up your HTML editor.

You may use programs like Office Frontpage, Macromedia Dreamweaver or CoffeeCup HTML Editor available free at http://www.download.com

Step 2. Insert a new table - about 600 pixels wide.

Step 3. Add your attention grabbing headline.

Your headline should have the following characteristics:

  • At the start and end of the heading it should have quotes (" ")

  • Red in color.

  • 18-24 pts in size.

Step 4. Add your bold sub-heading.

Your sub-heading should have the following characteristics:

  • Dark blue in color.

  • 14 pts in size

Step 5. Add a short introduction (a paragraph or two).

You must make the paragraph dramatic. Make the reader feel the pain or desire if they did or didn't have this problem.

Step 6. Add 5-7 short, sharp, bold & salivating bullet points

about what your reader will discover after they opt-in to see your sales letter/download your report.

Step 7. Add your call to action.

Now your reader wants to know what to do next.

This is where you tell them to fill in their first name and primary email address.

Step 8. Copy & Paste the opt-in form.

Go to your autoresponder service/software and copy & paste the HTML code for the subscription box underneath your "call to action".

Also add a note that their email is kept private and will never be used for spam.

Step 9. Upload your name squeeze page files to your web host server

Step 10. Watch your opt-ins soar!

Follow these 10 easy steps and you'll see a big difference in the number of subscribers you receive.

Unstoppable List Building Secrets - Part 2 Secrets To Choosing A Superior Autoresponder

There's so many autoresponders to choose from nowadays isn't there? But what might sound good might not always be the best. Are less than 30% of your emails getting delivered?

Before you even consider paying for an autoreponder, whether it be an autoresponder service or your own software script, you need to know these facts I'm about to reveal to you first.

Firstly, what's an autoresponder?

An autoresponder basically automates much of your email responses. Here's an example...

Have you ever sent an email to a commercial email and got a reply, almost instantly, containing "We've received your email and will respond shortly" ? Well that's what a basic autoresponder does. It only comes handy for a once off reply.

With email marketing and list building we need a special autoresponder called a "sequential autoresponder". A sequential autoresponder can store several, even 100's, of email messages into it's system and each email message can be set to send out each email on predetermined days. Example -

When someone subscribes to "ABC newsletter" they might receive the first email straight away. Then the second in about two days later and another five days later and so on.

So that's what I'm going to get into more depth on with you.

At the end of this short report you'll gain more knowledge on:

  • The different types of autoresponders you can use

  • The advantages and disadvantages of each.

  • Choosing the best autoreponder that's right for you

  • My personal recommendations

Ok to start off, here are the different types of autoreponders you can use.

  • Basic autoreponder

I've briefly explained what this type of autoresponder is at the beginning of this report.

This type of autoreponder only allows you to send one autoresponded message. Meaning that if someone were to send an email to your autoresponder enabled email, they'll receive an email instantly and that's it -- no other emails following that.

This is not widely used and will not be much use for you. Why? It doesn't capture the contact's email address. You'll need to add that yourself to the system.

The advantage of the basic autoresponder is that it's quick, easy and free to setup via your web hosting control panel. Only use this if you have a special customer support email address. But be aware that it may become a disturbance to your contacts.

  • Autoresponder Software

No this isn't the autoresponder software script where you upload it to your own web host. These are actual software just like any other program which you install onto your computer.

One autoresponder software is MailListKing (maillistking.com/)

This is a great tool because it's powerful and gives the admin a lot of control over how it works.

The drawback of it is that it only runs on your computer. Which means if you were out of your home then you won't have access to your list unless you bring your computer with you. Everything is stored onto your computer. What if you wanted to send out an urgent email to your list? What do you do then?

  • Autoresponder Scripts

This is one of the main types of autoresponder's people use.

Basically you purchase an autoresponder script from somewhere like ecom24.com (the script's called Autoresponder Pro) and you upload and install it onto your own web host server.

The advantages of this type of autoresponder is that you purchase the script once off and can use it as much as you can without worrying about monthly fee's.

It's feature rich and gives you the control you need.

There are numerous issues though when you use this type of autoresponder.

If the script does not include installation then this is a problem to a novice user. They then either have to do it on their own or outsource the work.

Email deliverability is poor. Why? Because you're sending out emails from your own web hosts. So why's this a problem? It's called "blacklists". If by any chance your domain/IP is "blacklisted" then only 30% of your emails will get delivered (typical rate).

Let me explain in more detail. There are many reasons why your IP/domain is blacklisted in the first place.

You're using a shared account or reseller account.
Shared accounts are the most common types of web hosting packages you get. Did you know several other people share that same server and IP with you?

If you go to your email account such as Hotmail and Yahoo mail, you can see a special folder called "Junk Mail". Once there's enough clicks from people that treat it as "junk mail", then that IP will be considered "blacklisted".

On the other hand, if you have your own dedicated IP address then that will reduce the risk of getting your IP address blacklisted but it's still not 100% OK.

Even if you have your own dedicated server, it's very hard to get your IP "whitelisted" (the opposite of blacklisted) from majoy mail servers and ISP's such as AOL.

  • Autoresponder Services

These types of autoresponder's are services such as EmailAces, Aweber & GetResponse.

You basically pay a subscription fee to use their autoresponder. They maintain and service everything for you.

These companies are dedicated to getting your emails delivered, unlike autoresponder scripts. They do the hard work for you and get as much as 99.4% of your emails delivered to your list. That's exactly what you want.

There's no software or scripts to install. The only hard part is actually setting up the autoresponder which is simple. Create a new account > Name it > Email address > Generate HTML form code. Easy.

The only bad thing about it is that if you want to broadcast an email to your list now then it is placed in a que. A que of other member's emails. It could take half an hour, an hour and sometimes even two hours depending on the load.

It's not as feature-rich as autoreponder scripts and doesn't give you as much control as the scripts.

OK. So those are the four types of autoresponders.

So which one's right for you?

It depends on what type of business you're in. If you're in the Internet Marketing field then cross off the first two types of autoresponder (Basic & Software).

You need a sequential autoresponder. Period. You'll know why in the next few parts of this email marketing series.

Here's my personal recommendation.

If you want to get your emails delivered & don't want to waste time then I'd go straight to Autoresponder services. No doubt about it. It's what I'm using at the moment and believe me, I've tried many autoresponder scripts which ended up in tragedy and horrow. Less than 30% of my emails were delivered. I kept getting emails saying that my email's "bounced". Which of course means that it's blacklisted.

I switched over to Aweber straight away and now I'm getting so much more responses than ever before.

Aweber allows you to backup your list and actually download the list of subscribers to your computer.

EmailAces on the other hand, is owned by Gary Ambrose. He's a well known Internet Marketer and specialises in Email Deliverability. Why's this so great? He understands Internet marketing so he's created an autoresponder that's made exactly for that. He makes sure that your emails get across to your subscribers almost 100% of the time.

If you're on a budget and don't have money for a subscription based autoresponder then you can use autoresponder scripts. But only temporarily. I want to emphasise that. Because once your list(s) grows bigger, you'll find that you're database starts to slow down because of the number of subscribers you have and also email deliverability once again.

If you don't want to waste time installing and maintaining your own autoresponder, I'd highly recommend you go for autoresponder services. Aweber to be precise.

Aweber is responsible for making me over six figures so far this year and I stand by it 100%.

List Profits Secret 1. How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action. Part 1

Hello there. Before you go ahead with reading this write-up, ask yourself “Why am I reading this article? Why did I click it open in the first place? Something compelled you; didn’t it? Guess what it is –The Headline.

Yeah that’s why you are reading this article. This seemingly simple step is one of the three you can use in grossly commanding your clients to open and read immediately. You know why? Because it offers the promise of a solution to their problems.

That brings us to key number 1 in email marketing techniques: Make your subject lines as compelling as possible. Not much of a secret, eh? But you would be amazed to know that not many internet marketers are using this seemingly simple method.

This factor alone can increase your subscriber-reading rate by over 70%. The rule is the same. If you want to catch people’s attention then pen something that will instantly grab their attention by using terrific psychological triggers.

If you’ve been around a while, you are aware that not all emails get read. I mean it is hard enough getting the thing through Spam filters to your subscribers’ inbox.

Even then, it might not get read. Yet there is a simple technique that you could use each and every time to conjure up wonderful attention-grabbing headlines. That’s the reason you are still reading this article. I got your attention long enough to compel you to click through. No hypnotic stuff here, just plain common sense.

Now, how do you get to write such attention-grabbing subject lines? See the end from the beginning. When I started with this article, the goal I had in mind was to teach how you could get your subscribers to click through your headlines. So, I had to ask myself “What do I want my reader to do?” “What do I want them to achieve?” Simple, eh? Yeah.

At the beginning of this article, you got the impression that there was something you needed to know. You realised you wanted to learn this and that’s the reason you are still reading this article. At the beginning, there was a hint of getting results with our email marketing campaigns –specifically getting almost everyone on your list to click through and read your emails.

That is simply what marketing and ad writing is all about. For example, let’s say you are selling shoes and you want your subscribers to buy the new foot cream or sweat-inhibiting foot powder in your stock. Sending them an email with the subject line: “Buy New Sweat Inhibiting Powder” will not get as many results as “How Do You Stop Your Feet from Smelling?” Now you see that is a unique question everyone who wears shoes is asking.

So you are attending to their innate needs by asking that question. Because it is a problem they need solved, you are bound to get higher clickthroughs and ultimately make more sales.

Another result-getting technique you can use is personalization. Instead of just including “Dear friend” or “Dear Subscriber”, you might want to personalize your emails. Most autoresponders now have the facility to do that.

All you have to do is automate it to send emails with subject lines starting with the subscribers’ firstname. For example, you could send an email with the title “[FIRSTNAME], here's how I build my list...” Personalizing your email is important as it promotes some form of cordiality. It enhances trust on the part of the subscriber and more importantly, singles your email out almost immediately making it stand out in the crowd.

Get your subscribers attention by piquing their curiosity. The ability to do this sets you apart from your competition. Marketers who have mastered this skill have always made money and gotten higher clickthroughs than their competition.

A subject line like “How I got 20,000 visitors in 7 days using just RSS feeds” will definitely grab your audience’s attention and trigger a psychological response making them think they could achieve the same if it is real and doable. The next thing they think after seeing that is “Really? Is that possible? Let me find out” and click. Your email opens before them.

In the next issue we’ll look at another very important aspect of generating higher subscriber results and clickthroughs. In the meantime, watch out for “List Profits Secret 1. How to Get Your Subscribers to Open Your Emails and Take Immediate Action. Part 2”.

Remember what today’s lesson is: Make your headlines as compelling as possible.

The Real Secrets To Choosing A Great Internet Marketing Domain Name

Having trouble choosing a domain name? You’ll discover how to choose a great domain name and how to avoid small mistakes which could cost you a lot of time and money.

There are many domain name registrars but I’d highly recommend you register with http://www.namecheap.com. They are the cheapest and most reliable. GoDaddy are popular but once a few people make complaints that you’re “spamming” then that domain name will be kept hold by GoDaddy - They have complete control of your domain. This is where Namecheap.com stands out.

From my 3+ years of Internet Marketing experience here are some of my best tips when choosing a domain name that is easy to remember, effective, catchy and basically - Great!

  • Your domain name should be your product/service name.
So for example, if your product is called XYZ Killer Secrets then your domain should be xyzkillersecrets.com. That way people will remember your site and product.

  • Avoid ‘-’ dashes
Unless you have a good reason to use it. It’s sometimes not easy to remember sites that have a ‘-’ in them. Tell me, which one would look and sound better - www.xyzkillersecrets.com or www.xyz-killer-secrets.com ? How would you tell your friend face-to-face when they ask what your site is? xyzkillersecrets dot com or xyz DASH killer DASH secrets dot com?

  • Avoid funny domain extensions
such as .tv, .biz, .cc unless there is a good reason to. You wouldn’t use a domain name such as www.xyzkillersecrets.com.au unless that product was meant to be seen by local users of Australia. You’d use .com.au if you have a pizza restaurant such as Jim’s Pizza’s or something.

  • Stick with the standard .COM. extension
Everybody knows what .COM is and it is by far the easiest to remember. If the domain that you want is taken with an extension of .COM then choose a different name. There are many combinations you can try out.

  • Keep it as short and simple
It is difficult to get a short domain name but just a rule of thumb - the shorter the better. The lesser words the better.

  • Make it catchy
Be a buddy of POWER WORDS. Power words are words such as “secrets”, “killer”, “Top”, “Amazing”. If you want to see a complete list of power words & phrases download my WebCopyWordsThatMakeYouRich.com. You’ll get a rich amount of power words & phrases (’swipefiles’) so if you’re running out of words to use on your domain name then simply use this.

  • The power of ‘uniqueness’ & branding.
Uniqueness meaning that if your product was called xyz killer secrets you’d sure want to register for the .COM, .NET, .ORG and all the other popular domain extentions so you’re the only person who has that name. It’s also useful because if someone went to for example Logos2go.NET but your site was Logos2go.COM then that person would end up at a different site - not yours and you’ll probably lose that potential customer.

Use these simple guidelines and you’ll avoid making the painful mistakes of choosing the wrong domain. Follow these simple tips and you’ll sure make people remember your site and what more — it’ll brand your site.

Damn it! Buy From Me Already!

It seems as though getting the attention of people online is extremely difficult…

Internet marketers, for example, will do extremely crazy things just so people, like you, will buy from them. For instance, when there’s a “big product launch” happening, hundreds of Joint-venture partners and affiliates join in to make as much commissions and try to get to the top of the “JV Top 10″ or Top 20, just so they can win a cash prize or a toy (at the very least).

I’ve seen some really crazy bonuses and bribes in the past - from ATV’s (All Terrain Vehicles), to a package full of hundreds of resell rights products.

I won’t deny it, I do crazy things just so you can buy from me too. What I don’t do is pile on irrelevant and unnecessary junk, just so I can make a sale.

Unfortunately, this is the world we live in now. My main niche is in the “Internet marketing” niche, and it’s super-competitive.

You’re seeing it a lot nowadays:

  • Under pricing of products - competitors selling the same product, but at a cheaper price.

  • A product claiming that you’ll get rich with their “magic pill”, and you HAVE to learn from them because they’ve been in business for X number of years, made three-million online from “doing nothing”, has a nice house and car(s).

  • Special software scripts and mechanisms that change the price of your product every 20 minutes or whatever - to make you buy the offer, before the price increases.

  • The list goes on…

These marketing and selling “tricks” aren’t new. They’ve been around ever since value was exchanged for another value. Everything’s just evolved and enhanced because of the technology we have nowadays.

Contrary to the point, here are some miscellaneous principles which I think should be emphasized (may be irrelevant, but I wanted to share it with you) -

  • Exchanging value - “You give me that, and I’ll give you this”. It’s traditionally called barter.

  • Build trusts and relationships with prospects and customers

  • Never insult your prospect’s or customer’s intelligence - treat them like a human being

  • Add value, give quality and original information - What’s your unique selling proposition (USP)? There’s already enough people mailing out offers every single day of the week. What makes your newsletter different to the rest?

Getting back to the point…

Do you feel like you’re losing direction, or focus, because there’s just so much information out there and so many people telling you to “buy from them”?

What do you think about this? This is just the way I view things. You may have a totally different perspective than me. I really don’t know. Post your comments. I’d love to hear from you - whether it’s good or bad.

Thanks. I appreciate your time reading this.

The Home Business Lifestyle

By looking at this comic, would you say you have anything in common? (excuse the male character if you’re a female :) )

How productive are you? How many hours of actual “productive” work do you get done each day?

I’m normally on the computer from 11am till 3am. That’s 16 hours. The amount of “productive” work I get done is about 7-8 hours.

When I say “productive”, I mean actual work that’s contributing to the growth of your business.

I’d love to hear how productive you are - whether you work part-time or full-time on your business.

Share your thoughts with us, here…

How to Create Viral 7-20 Page Reports That Will Continually Suck In Money for You 24-7 - Part 2

Creating a viral report that will spread like wild fire on the internet is a possibility if you know what to do and how to go about it. In case you are wondering what a viral report is, it is a report whose rate of spread over the internet is identical to the way a virus spreads either on the PC or among humans or animals –insanely fast!

How do you create a report that attains a viral status? Simple. Create a report that is vastly relevant and include incentives that will make people benefit from it. If you do this effectively, you will have a tremendous spread of the report over the internet in no time.

To make a report viral, there are three major tactics you could use:

1. Include a giveaway rights
2. resell rights benefit and
3. a rebrand rights benefit.

A resell rights benefit simply means the buyer has the right to resell the product and keep the 100 percent profits. This method is highly viable and increases sales conversion rates hence making more money for the seller of the product because of the benefit o being able to sell again and keep all the profits,

Another advantage this has is that the author of the report will still make money in the back end. How? By including links to his websites or products he is promoting by himself. So while people with resell rights are making money from selling the product and keeping all the profits, they are also indirectly promoting your products and expanding the reach of the report.

A report can also attain a viral level of exposure if you give people the permission to give away the product for free. This works like magic. Karen finds the report and is fascinated by it, and then she sends a link to Paul, Peter, and Jessie who in turn send it to four people each and so on and so forth. With this single method, you could have over 1 million visitors within one short month of releasing the report. Is that nice or what! Imagine the potential of duplicating these same results over and over again. To make money from this, you’ll need to include the links to your website, products that you are an affiliate of, or services you intend to sell. Imagine the potential of 1 million people seeing your products and services. If just one percent of them were to buy your product at $29 each -which is more than likely because of the relevancy and the referrals from friends- you’ll be grossing over $290,000 over that period of time. Not bad for an investment of less than $50.

The third tactic is giving away the rebrand or private label rights of the report. This means everything in the report can be amended. From the affiliate links to the name of the author. The bottom line is you lose all rights to the report. The only benefit is that you make money upfront after which the rest is out of your hands. As a result, you could end up seeing what looks like a mutilated version of your report somewhere on the internet. But in the end the end result would have been attained: Creating a viral report.

How to Create Viral 7-20 Page Reports That Will Continually Suck In Money for You 24-7 - Part 1

Creating reports is not as hard as it seems to be. One thing you need to understand is that a report is nothing more than a compilation of thoughts on a particular topic. So, if you graduated from high school, you can put together a viral report with pages between 7 and 20 for a cheap fee. Some other big internet gurus have sold 15-paged reports for a whopping $150! Joe Vitale created a 10-page report within just 5 days without even creating a viral mechanism for it and sold it for $150 each; amounting to $15 a page. While some of us mere mortals may not be able to achieve this super human feat, it at least just shows you how profitable reports can be. In this article we’ll be unveiling the secrets to creating viral reports that will keep grossing in sales for you long after you might have written it. It is really simple given the fact that it takes just about the same tactics to get it done.

There are various ways to go about creating a viral report. It could be through transcription; that is you translate an audio recording into an ebook or report. Lots of marketers have done this, and sold at a lower price. Most folks cannot afford the expensive teleseminars hosted by the top internet marketers. So, this option is really a form of relief for most who cannot afford the expensive costs of the teleseminars. You could also gather a collection of articles or newsletters you might have compiled over a period of time and compile them into a report. This method is usually best for series. For example, if you owned the series we did on article marketing, you could easily compile it together, add one or two touches, create a good sales page for it with lovely graphics and catchy features and sell off for just $14 each.

The third method could be as a result of finding out what questions are the most pressing issues at a point in time. Then find the solutions to those problems by doing some research on them and compile them into a well-written report. This method is highly profitable. You could write a 15-paged report and sell for just $29.99 and it will sell quickly and fast. You know why? You looked for needs that people will give anything to be solved for them. A typical example is children’s allergy. Anyone who comes out with a highly informative report on averting the allergies and possible remedies will sell it at any price he wants and still rake in tons of profits from it because up till the time of writing this article, no cure or solution has been found to this problem. This is just an example of profiting from reports that may not take you more than one week to write. Imagine making a total of $8,000 from a 36 hour investment. Awesome isn’t it? And that is not the end. You could easily replicate this in as many niches as you desire and these niches are limitless.

You Don’t Have To Get It Right, You Just Have To Get It Going…

This special post is for all you that seem to be weighed down and drowning in a sea of ideas, better known as Idea Overload.

I could start this off by telling you how many days and nights I spent in a total state of Idea Overload, how “I’ve been in your shoes”, or even that “I feel your pain”.

However, what you really need to hear is exactly how my story unfolded.

If you are really interested in changing the way you handle business; I must suggest that you sit up, pay attention, and take notes.

During 2003, I decided to test my skills in the marketing world on a part-time basis. After this humble beginning, I moved into marketing full-time in 2005. Early in my first year of marketing full-time, a realization set in: I was spinning my wheels and already needed new tires. How did I come to this realization? I had to have my life put into perspective by a motivational speaker.

Mike Litman is a very popular motivational speaker based on one very simple motto, which hit me hard when I first heard it.

The One Quote That Hit Me…

Mike emphasizes, “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going”. Now, if you’re not familiar with Mike Litman, take a look through his website, www.mikelitman.com. This one small quote changed my life and I do not mind giving him credit for it. While Mike might not be the creator of this statement, or if he obtained this wisdom from someone else, I am very glad he uses it frequently. I also heard this from Marlon Sanders.

It made perfect sense to me that there was a reason for my problems. I could not seem to get anything done and I had not even been able to earn my first dollar in the marketing world. After obtaining more information from Mike Litman and many other informative websites, I realized that I had too many ideas and information stored in my head. All of these ideas were becoming stagnant because I could not put them into action.

I discovered that I could not get my ideas into action because I was a perfectionist. Yes, this sounds a little crazy because a perfectionist would be determined to have all plans working in proper order immediately.

I could not even get mine started because I did not know how to make these ideas run smoothly in the beginning. In my mind, it was better to keep the idea hidden instead of starting a project that might fail.

I consistently held dozens of ideas in my head waiting for the enlightening moment when I realized exactly how I could make the project go through perfectly. You will never believe this, but those ideas NEVER BECAME PERFECT. Always remember that no idea starts out perfect and there is always room for improvement.

This one quote, “You don’t have to get it right, you just have to get it going”, gave me the ability to change this part of my personality. I changed the way I approached things with my business and the way I made decisions for my business.

I started by asking myself the following three questions:

1. “What is the easiest project to complete?”

2. “What is the fastest project to complete?”

3. “Which project will lead to my ultimate goal?”

Your ultimate goal could be to buy your first home, make $100,000, go for a holiday to Fiji or whatever.

At the time, my ultimate goal was to make at least $100,000 online. My first sale was only a measly $5, but I could be proud that I had successfully taken a project from start to finish. I had also given a customer more than a product; I had created VALUE in my product and now understood that “VALUE SELLS”.

I still remember the day of the first sale when I was jumping in the air shouting “Yes!!” My family heard this and thought I was crazy getting excited over $5. I am positive my neighbors heard and thought I was crazy too. Maybe I was crazy and maybe I still am, but I now understand how to get my ideas into action and I want to help you understand too.

Did this bring me closer to my ultimate goal of $100,000 online? Sure it did. Before you make your first $100, you have to first make your first dollar.

Evaluate yourself and decide which of these two choices you would take:

1. Start a large project that you think MAY result in a large monetary gain.

2. Start a minor project that you think will be faster and easier to accomplish, but will only result in a minor monetary gain.

After hearing the quote of my life, I would choose the second option. The second option would allow me to get started quickly, have early success, build tremendous momentum and keep my self-esteem high. This would also allow me to follow the advice of another well-known writer of self-help books, Mr. Anthony Robbins. Anthony Robbins mentioned the power of “Chunking” in one of his earlier books, called “Notes From A Friend”.

“The most successful people are those who understand the power of ‘chunking’, who don’t bite off more than they can chew at one time. In other words, they break a goal down into bite-sized pieces, achievable ’sub-goals’ that lead toward the ultimate success they desire. But it’s not enough just to set sub-goals; you have to celebrate the achievement of each small step. This will help you build momentum and develop habits that will gradually turn your dreams into reality.”

- Anthony Robbins

Chunking is a perfect example of getting the small projects going and work your way towards your primary objective. The point that these speakers are making is that your ideas do not have to be perfect; you just have to get them going.

So what if your software has some bugs and crashes every now and then, ever hear of Windows ME®? Yes, even Microsoft takes chances with projects that need to be pushed out quickly. Did this minor failure make Bill Gates stop putting out more software that is full of bugs? Of course it didn’t, Gates understands the philosophy of getting your ideas out and fixing the major problems as you go. And what’s even smarter is how Gates hands out “beta” versions to the public, for free, so they’ll find the bugs!

You don’t have to make everything perfect at the start. You can always optimize and tweak it once it’s out there. On the contrary, I’m not saying to create and put out “crap”.

I know that there may be some people who may not agree with my thinking, but this is what’s worked for me and I’m simply sharing my story.

The bottom line is, if you have a sea of ideas that you want to turn into something more, then…

“You don’t have to get it right; you just have to get it going”

Here are my:

Top 5 Tips on How To Get Things Done

1. Make a checklist of 10 things or tasks you want to complete for today, in order of priority. The task(s) you did not complete for today can be continued on the next day. So the next day you’d have another checklist of the 10 things you need to get done.

2. Ever heard of the quote “Do what you do best and outsource the rest”? That’s right. Focus on your strengths and get someone else to do the work you hate or weak at. If you’re on a shoe-string budget, why not do a barter? i.e. - commit to a quid pro quo. Bottom line is, don’t be the “one man band”.

3. Get yourself an “Idea book”. Go to your local stationary store and buy a cheap notepad where you can jot down your ideas. That way you don’t forget your ideas and you can refer back to it anytime.

4. Build relationships with other people in your market. I feared telling my business buddies about my latest ideas, because I thought that they’d “steal” my idea. Much to my surprise, that wasn’t so. Sharing your ideas amongst you fellow business associates, acquaintance or friends, will potentially allow you to brainstorm through your idea to give you suggestions, tips and pointers to enhance your idea. The truth of the matter is, they may know more about a certain area than you. So find and build relationships with other people in your market.

5. Get the right tools and work in an environment where you’re comfortable working in. If you’re sitting on a really uncomfortable seat, then it’ll be hard for you to work on the computer. Especially if you’re going to work at longer periods. Get the right tools and software to keep yourself working productively. Lock yourself if you have to get your work done. One crazy, but rewarding thing I did was book a hotel for three days to get an important task done. Do this if you have to.

I’d love to hear your thoughts and/or experiences. And yes, I do read every comment that’s posted on this blog.
